Note: Due to changes in the New South Wales laws placing computer technicians at risk of violating criminal laws without any intention of doing so I've stopped working on computers for people because the conflicting laws do not make it clear who is legally responsible for the data on the systems. It also makes keeping back-up copies of data for clients unlawful, and this is something a techician needs to do while working on a client's computer, unless they wish to just destroy all of the client's data. This conflict in the laws comes about via who can access data and what is lawful data, a conflict that only started with a change in the NSW laws in late 2010 and was not made known to the public by the government at that time. Thus this website now only deals with the stories I write and / or publish.
